  Welcome!

The Susan Giblin Foundation for Animal Wellness & Welfare formed to honor the memory and continue the work of Susan Giblin, a Certified Veterinary Technician and noted animal advocate, who passed away from leukemia at the age of 46. The Foundation's mission is to raise and dispense funds to support animal caregiving organizations, to foster awareness and education of complementary therapies, and to support the continued education of those in the animal medical field.  Projects can range from funding for ongoing operations, funding for specific projects, grants for continuing education or grants for needed procedures or treatments in conjunction with selected veterinarians.

3rd Annual Susan Giblin Foundation for Animal Wellness & Welfare Concert a Rockin' Success!

Our biggest fundraising event was held on Saturday, April 21st.  It was a great success with amazing silent auction items, great music and grant money was distributed to local (and global) animal welfare groups.  Thanks to everyone who joined us and a great big "Cashmere" kiss to Loretta Bilieux & The Dive Bar Pretties, Pete Palladino, The Jellybricks, The Parallax Project and all the other great musicians who lended a paw.   We couldn't have done this without the help and support of the staff at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center.

Who We Have Helped...
Xander...Happy & Healthy!

Meet Xander

Thankfully, you can.

Because he almost didn’t make it.  You see, last summer, Xander suffered a painful, life-threatening illness that required emergency surgery on his urinary tract.  The surgery would save him, problem was, his people couldn’t afford it.

Enter the Susan Giblin Foundation.  SFG donated $1000 toward the cost of surgery, enabling Xander’s people to make up the difference…and the surgeons saved Xander.  Xander stayed in the hospital for a few days, but recovered nicely and returned home to his own kitty bed, good as new.  Today, Xander is back to his old snuggly self.

Thanks to the Susan Giblin Foundation for Animal Wellness & Welfare.  Thanks to you.
